Guido Guidi was born in Cesena in 1941. In the sixties he attended the IUAV and the Industrial Design course in Venice. From 1989 to 2015 he taught photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna. Since 2001 he has been visiting professor at the Faculty of Design and Arts at IUAV in Venice.
He exhibited his work at the Guggenheim Museum and the Whitney Museum in New York. At the Pompidou Center in Paris, the Venice Biennale, the Canadian Center for Architecture in Montreal, the Fondation HCB in Paris.
